Tara H. Ransdell, O.D.

Dr. Tara H. Ransdell is committed to providing comprehensive eyecare with a friendly touch. Dr. Ransdell purchased Peoria Eye Care on December 1, 2005. Her eyecare includes fitting specialty contact lenses, co-managing LASIK and cataract patients, and treating eye infections.

Tara grew up in northern Minnesota. After high school, she simply crossed the river and attended the University of North Dakota. While at UND she was named to the President's List, and also competed on the women's basketball team.

In 2000, she graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry, located in Chicago. While in Chicago, she discovered a love for running, and competed in 4 marathons. In 1998 she married a longtime friend, Jason Ransdell, who is also an optometrist. In 2004 Jason and Tara welcomed their first child, Jordan Taylor, into the world. Jordan has a "big brother", her yellow labrador retriever, Elway.

Natasha

Natasha is the office manager of Peoria Eye Care. She has worked in the optical industry for 7 years. If you have any questions about our office, please contact Natasha directly.

Fran

Fran come to Peoria Eye Care with 15 years experience in Opthalmology from a practice and surgery center in the Phoenix area. A native of Iowa, she and her husband have  lived in Glendale for 17 years. Frans duties include insurance coding and billing, accounts receivable, patient pre-testing and assisting with saily activities throughout the office.
